Unwinding yourself in Drenthe
In the heart of the Mantinger Forest and Meadows nature reserve you will find tearoom and Bed & Breakfast "de Mantinger Es". A nostalgic former farm from 1874, in the green and guarded by three centuries-old oaks. The terrace in front of the former stable invites you to land, you can hardly resist it. It's a wonderful rest in your biketour or hike where you can enjoy a cup of delicious coffee or tea. Small but nice, you immediately feel comfortable. That's what Drenthe's peace does with you.
Two comfortable bed and breakfast rooms in the former stable give you the opportunity to spend a few days here to go cycling or hiking. Both rooms have their own bathroom. Don't be surprised when a fox or a badger passes your window at night. Enjoy the daily bird concert, listen to the quails, partidges and larks in the surrounding fields and forests. Over 75 different birds are spotted in our own garden! View the rooms, or directly make reservations (English).
Drenthe is known as the most beautiful cycling and hiking province in the Netherlands. The Mantinger Es is a great starting place for walks you can start from our Bed & Breakfast. Take a tour with our nature guide or get on your bike and take the beautiful Drenthe routes. You can easily make your own bikeroute here. You'll find us in Drenthe between bikeroute signs 60 and 64. Distinction by personal attention
The Bed & Breakfast and the Tea Room are our main activities. This enables us to give each guest personal attention. Not forced but in a relaxed way. Just because we like to do that. The many nice responses we get show that this attention is greatly appreciated.
Passion for nature
Nature is our passion and we like to extend that. In and around the tearoom passers and guests are given short, vivid presentations about nature-related topics. We hope to meet you in 2018!
